MoneyDNA is built as a freemium application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our App.

Information Collection and Use

MoneyDNA is designed with your privacy in mind. All financial data you enter into the App (transactions, budgets, goals) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

However, the App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

Log Data

In the event of an error or crash, we collect Log Data through Firebase Crashlytics. This may include your device name, operating system version, app configuration, the time and date of use, and other diagnostic statistics.

Advertising

The free version of MoneyDNA displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to serve ads relevant to you. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings. Premium users do not see advertisements.

In-App Purchases

MoneyDNA offers a premium subscription through the Google Play Store. All payment processing is handled by Google Play. We do not have access to your payment details such as credit card numbers. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for information on how Google handles your payment data.

Data Retention

Your financial data is stored only on your device. If you uninstall the App, all locally stored data will be deleted. Analytics and crash data collected by Firebase is retained according to Google's data retention policies.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Security

We value your trust and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
